Night Rind

A first person narrative that breathes in a world of micro erotics—found in mundane hauntings, sonic emergences, touched food and accumulative bugs. It was made from a place of thinking about somatic texts—ones that encourage or emerge with bodily feeling such as the romance novel and the cookbook. The novella ends with two auto-theory essays on grottos and mood lighting respectively.

Ideas of grottos, agency, erotics, haunting and animation co-habit this book.
