Fondue

Fondue is an intimate party hosted annually in a private country home in Burgundy, France.
The event seeks to build a space that allows for somatic exploration between the three loose catagories of food, erotics and partner dance. It is specifically queer both in the identites of the participants and in its openess to a generative messiness of form.
I imagine and create the food aspect of the event.
Being part of this space allows me to explore food work as a form that is healing, stimulating, substanstive, fictious and sculptural. Staining, ritualizing, comforting and moving-with become important aspects of the work.
